I'll echo narcodog's comment re long way to travel . I am in Newfoundland in eastern Canada but would still love to make it to this event .

I will agree with this suggestion . This has become my favorite go-to book for inspiration and help in tying Catskill dries . It has also started me on a search for the older classic Mustad 94840 dry fly hooks .

I also tie them in by the tip but then wrap them around the thread making a kind of "chenille" . Makes for strong bodies even for Atlantic Salmon fishing .......Frank

I use a washer also as the screw does not allow a lot of tension to be placed on the spool , in my view ........Frank
