Thanks guys for all the ideas. I started to tie foam beetles at a customer’s request. He ordered some of the beetles from Harrison Steeves great book on Terrestrials. Harrison likes that Krienick metallic braid as a shell outside the foam. Mailed the guy a few doz. without testing them out but later...
