I am working on the I.F.F.F.'s Fly Tying Groups Silver Award fly's and have a question about tradition on Mallard Duck quell wings. If you where doing a set of 3 patterns for presentation 94840 #12 how wide would they be. (by the way, the Ginger Quill is the first fly in the silver award)

There is a solvent sold for crazy glues and most hobby and hardware stores carry it. (I know because it took me twice before I started looking) OK I never was to bright.
I tie a good amount of my Steelhead fly's on older hooks, both fishing and for collector plates. OK enough of being a wise guy. I have used a white Bugger with gold bead and red thread head and caught real nice Sea Run Cutthroat here on the Rogue. I used white hackle.
