Re: Antrim Streamside

Ed,
I briefly mentioned Antrim Streamside in the previous issue of Eastern FF Magazine (in my short Willowemoc story)----Same people who were trying to get the Antrim Lodge up and running---

-It's a nice place---for "special occasions" I will stay there------

Re: "Catskill Heritage Fly Tiers" group gathering

It will be a lot of fun----will give us all a reminder of "what we all had to tie with" in 1960's into late 70's---let alone what the "old school Catskill icons" tied with. Those darn Noll kits---how did we all do it! The Indian capes were a bit better than the Indian capes sold today---but nothing ...

"Catskill Heritage Fly Tiers" group gathering

We're planning a gathering in the fall----Just an FYI. The museum has offered their place as a venue---but that will be decided upon in the future, as things progress " Catskill Heritage Fly Tiers" group is a little different in our focus than the "Catskill Fly Tyers Guild." Re: Quill Adams

Now, we mustn't play with history  "Quill Adams" name is already taken----by Don Martinez. The name he attributed to his Macaw Quill dry fly\. An extensive history of the pattern is found in the Don Martinez chapter of my The Founding Flies \. The Quill Adams---(tied with Macaw quill body) was ...

Re: Annual Holiday book giveaway---trivia contest

Thank you, to those who participated (and also to those who tolerated the post :) ) I usually do a couple of these book giveaways every year--here and elsewhere. Once a book is released, the publishers send me about 10 "author copies." I use these as giveaways. -One year, I was checking my shelves f...
