Well if you get the sheets in during the fall when the mice are looking for a place to winter they will go elsewhere and you will get less mice moving around in dead of winter.

I've got an old bungalow in Dutchess County.Modern moth balls dont work.They dont use camphor anymore.The first year I had it the old timers told me to use moth balls.The mice ate it and the problem was worse.I now use Bounce dryer sheets.Need to use a lot of them.Put them all over,especially along ...

Its bad,a couple of homes and businesses here have lost contact with the ground water in my area,in Copake.Bash-Bish Creek has been bone dry here in town since August and a couple ponds have gone dry.Supposed to get rain today,fingers crossed.

Got back to the Bash-Bish Brook on wed afternoon for about an hour.Took 3 small brookies,4-6" out of the tail of that deep pool.Second cast to the head of the pool and I landed the big one,a 10" brookie.Think I'm gonna love this stream.

Scouting new territory

So I moved to Columbia county back in Novemeber and havent had any time for fishing as yet this spring,lots of work at the new house.I did get a chance to take the dog for a walk in Taconic State park,about 5 mins away,on the Mass border.Bash-Bish Brook runs thru it and we hiked about a mile stretch...
