Ed, That's funny! I learned how to tie from a gentleman that used the old Thompson style whip finisher...he also tied left handed! I used half hitches, as I could never sort it out! I started with a couple of Sunrise knock-offs, after quickly bending the pot-metal vise from my Noll (sp?) tying kit back in the 70's. Finally purchased a Thompson Model A. Upgraded to a HMH in the early 90's, and added a Xuron from St. Simon's Outfitters during 2007. I really like tying on that vis...
