My go to alwive pattern on the WB is Dave Whitlock's sheep minnow.I tie mine in sizes 2# through 6#.The pattern is tied with Icelandic Sheep Wool.Very lifelike.Google the pattern and you'll get the basic idea.You can modify it however you see fit,the Sheep Wool is the main thing in the pattern.I've ...

Roscoe Vernon,better known as Gadabout Gaddis, "The Flying Fisherman".The episode of American Sportsman with Curt Gowdy and Lee Wulff in Labrador flyfishing for brook trout was a big help also.

I love everything about the Catskills.The rivers,the people ,the history,not to mention my annual trips fishing the Beaverkill,the Willow,East and West branches of the Deleware.Most of all,stopping in at Dette's Fly Shop and chatting with Joe and Mary.Tight Lines.
