you can also soak it in warm water first, then the shampoo then if it's really brittle it is soak in an solution of water and glycerin.

classic streamer fishermen. need help

I'm looking for photos of fish caught (not necessarily trout) on a classic streamer's like the one tied by Gordon, Christian, Hewitt, Darbee, Dette, Flick, Bergman, Koller, etc. Nice shots with the fly seen ...it doesn't have to be hero shots. Further info at your request. pm me.

I'm from Jersey living the life on Cape Cod. !!!! anyway, I'll try to answer this before Valla does. You stated the classic proportions and if you follow them your fly should float upright . BUT. there is always a but....not all tiers from the region tied them the same. some people liked longer tail...
