Woven bodies

Hi friends, I was challenged recently by a question on which I have doubts. Who was in your opinion and for your knowledge the inventor of woven bodies on flies? The inventor or or the real pioneer of this technique. Could it be Franz Pott or George Grant ? Or someone else? Any idea? Take care Alberto

Re: Gut twister

Hi John,

you should try to add one more gear and to twist gut in three strand. That's the way they did it in the old time. For your salmon flies a three strands gut is the best.

Ciao

A happy Thanksgiving to you all.

We don't celebrate this day in Italy but I will prepare pasta and drink a good bottle of wine thinking of you.

Re: Alberto, fantastic article in the CFTG Newsletter

Thank you Mark, I appreciate your compliments. But it was really my honor to give a small contribution to the Gazette. In that article, originally published in an italian magazine, I wrote nothing new for you guys for what concerns the stories of the Catskill tradition. But I did my best to spread t...

Re: Book #2 : Update

I have completed my ordering process last night. I am happy I will add this nice piece of writing to my library and also glad I will contribute somehow to help the CFFCM.

Very good job Mike. I look forward to see the book.
