I got the rod back and am fishing it, first with a 5 wt., which seemed not to load the rod, I used a wf 6 and it's seemed the ticket. Hearing about silk lines, I would like to fish one on this rod. But what weight? Everyone says fish it with a 5 wt. But I must say the 5 leaves not loading properly. ...

Hi every one . I Just got a horrock ibbotson Tonka prince 7 footer 2 piece 2 tips in good condition I want to recondition and fish. It needs a cork handle. I don’t have any old ones to compare, but my first thought was they were generally bigger because of the larger gap.
At first I thought an 18 was a 16.
