quill wings
i have tried to make these wings for the ginger quill and im having a problem when i upright them? is there a trick to it? i can make nice wet fly wings.. but they just dont look good when i tye them.
any help would be appericated

here we go the right recipe but my tail and head suck.... but the quill i think came out good for a first try. any advice on the tying the quill to the hook?

they look great does it matter if you substitute like dun hackle instead of light blue hackle? or are you guys tying these exactly as the recipe reads?

hey guys just stumbled across this pattern looks like it will work well in alot of situtation so i tied one up
