Have a good time at the show guys. I can not make it. This is a big stream clean up days for numerous TU chapters in the state. I wish for you guys to have lousy weather. This way the show will get crowed and tyers wanting to stay at their vises longer instead of fishing.

I just go out and by a few smaller paint brushes and I have a good source of Micro fibbets that I need. I have found black, Dun Brown and ginger and once in a blue moon an olive. Cost me about 15 bucks and will last about 10 years.

The Green Wisp was of one of two fly patterns that Ralph Hoffman (Pardon my spelling) fished with During Trout Season. The Green wisp reported by Ralph himself was a pattern that he used in the Summer time only. The other pattern that ralphed fished in conjuction with this fly was the Black Turkey. ...

Hi Ed: I suggest you try the following: http://www.jimsflyco.com/ If Jim's can't get them, then it is RIT dye time. Just sugest to buy a few extremely cheap feathers from a craft store first to see that you get the color mixture you like. Once the color is good make sure to write it down and proceed...

Tyed this fly for a shadow box to be rffled off at one of the TU Banquets this year. I love to fish and tye this pattern. I really think this fly is classy and just a thing of beauty:
