Ed:

Interesting fly. I always love to see some thing different. Seems to be simple and easy to tye. I wonder how it really does on stream. I gues there is only one way to find out. Thanks for sharing.

Like my Hunny Bunny I just sat down at my vise and pulled out some materials that I really thought would go together and work well catching fish. I am adding...

Re: Turkey, Anyone...

Mike the trouble with this picture is I see dinner first and Turkey feathers second. My home is right next to Rancocas Woods and every spring I have a flock of Turkey's that migrate from the front yard to the side of the house this is next to the woods. Nice picture but boy do I now have a craving f...

Re: Ray Smith Claret Gnat Again

Hi Ed: The photo of the hackle is mis-leading due to lighting. The full collared hackle is Black Hen Cape. So should I have created a beard/false hackle instead???? I also when I looked at the pattern again seen there is a tail of black hackle that I did not add in. Looks like a do over/mulligan is ...

Ray Smith Claret Gnat Again

Hi every one: I finally gotten a chance to sit down today and tye up 7 Claret Gnats from Ray Smith. I love floss bodies so I went with what the pattern called for. Will be working on the variation shortly. Sincerely Andy Brasko http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq348/Fontinalis/ClaretGnat007.jpg
