I finally have it in my hands! The Founding Flies is here and I've flipped through half of the book so far taking as much in as possible. This was a birthday present, so even though I wasn't happy turning a year older, I received a nice gift!

If they progress at the same rate as your first to the second one did, you will be tying presentatiion flies in a week :D The second one is much better, just clean up the hackle area and use a thread that compliments the materials. That and keep going, every one gets a little better ;) CJ Haha, tha...

Here is another try. I started with some bare shank near the eye, but it looks like I need to start back even further. The body still may need to be tighter. Ack, I think it looks horrible.
