One thing mentioned about photo dying the dun color was that it was almost instantaneous. I tried it once and man, it was quick. If you looked away for a second, you were dark dun in a heartbeat.

I use a white porcelain photo developing tray. The white background makes it easier to see the lighter pastel colors and cleanup is easy. A friend had turned me on to his Rusty Spinner dubbing a few years ago. Really super stuff. This has been a hard year for the fly fishing fraternity.
