As a further update I have included in the Catskill section of my site a few pictures of few nice guys who frequent this forum, a couple of moderators ;) and a gentleman wearing a strange hawaian shirt. 8-)

Re: Heddon cane

Among my bamboo rods I got two Heddon and they are surely lovely rods which I like to use regularly. One is a Black Beauty in 8' feet lenght for a 5 weight with a 2F ferrule. It is a light rod, nice and not too slow. The other Heddon is a 8,5 feet model 20, Bill Stanley Favourite, again with a 2F fe...

Re: "Catskill Flies" colonize Italy, in Sedge & Mayfly Mag

It may sounds unusual that an Italian could have such great interest and appreciation for the history of Catskill area. But this is not so strange if we consider that every fly fisherman or fly tier in the world should be grateful for the contribution received by people like Gordon, Hewitt, the Darb...

Re: Look out, all trout!!

Mike, in your list of things to do just include a trip to Italy. A couple of weeks of sightseeing, wines, foods and, if you wish, fishing.

Take care

Re: Glen Grant

Hello friends, Mike Radencich is one of the best quoted salmon fly tyers and the 3 books he has written (one is going to be released in January) contribute to create that price on his flies. I don't think those prices are ridiculus, especially if we consider everything that goes in terms of material...

Re: My 2009 Fishing Goal Compleated

Wonderful fish. It's not fair to show this kind of things to people stuck in the office. I wish I could be there fishing the Willow again.

Take care Joe.
