Coachman

One of my favourite dries.
I prefer this fly on a size #18 or #20 id summer drought on small streams.
This is probably the best one I have ever tied.

Sweet looking tie, Roy. Care to offer up the dressing. Curious -- what do you reckon is the advantage of the 'hook-up' (i.e., 'Waterwisp') style? I'd tie on a Hare's Ear or a real March Brown, same thing really. Greased - it floats, it hangs in the surface. Untreated, it is the best nymph. then again, who would fish only one fly?
