What's not to like here. A great looking little stream. A very colorful brookie and some very nicely tied spiders. I am wondering about the bleached starling though Alan. Do you find them to be any more fragile to work with than the already fragile natural hackle?

A very nice tie there Alan. For our last years early season I fished this pattern but with a well waxed orange silk or tying thread. This of course darkens the body to near brown and I suppose shoots the translucence down the drain. In size #18 on a little creek here they fished well. Thanks for sha...
