I too have been tieing this of late and garnering great results on the water. Only difference is that I've switched to Moose Body Hair for the tail. Three or four pieces for a No. 14 seem to be sufficient and they produce a really stiff tail and a perfect heads up stance on the water. I don't know a...

Snowing here and Daylight Savings Time begins tonight... I'm reminded of the old Native American man, who when told about DST said; "Only the white man would think that if you cut the end off a blanket and sew it on the other end you would have a longer blanket."
