Keep Mark in your thoughts

Post by catskilljohn »

One of our members, and a good friend of mine and many on here Mark Libertone [softhackle] is going through cancer treatments and could use your prayers, well wishing and maybe a pm if you get a chance, I am sure he would appreciate it. Mark has been an inspiration to alot of us tyers, his flies are jewel quality and he is a good hearted gentleman.

Take care Mark, I will be thinking of you man. CJ

"Oh he existed in a crude, primitive form in Waltons England"
"But this is where they painted spots on him and taught him to swim"

CJ,
Thank-you, my friend. I started oral chemo, today. So far, so good. I'm not looking forward to the intravenous chemo, upcoming. It's going to be a double hall for me with radiation to follow and maybe some surgery later.

Staying positive as best I can but I'm getting support and prayers from friends like you ;) .

Dear Mark:

I just seen this and am truly sorry that you are having to go through such an issue. I truly will keep you in my prayers. From an Ex PRCA Rodeo Cowboy, we always would tell each other when we were having to face hard times due to injury was "Cowboy Up". To non Rodeo cowboy's it means face your demons and don't give up and to have the most positive attitude towards your fight. Anything I can do just ask.

Sincerely
Andy Brasko

Hi Mark, I've been there: 0pp, 28 radiations, and 24 weeks of chemo. I'm a 7 year survivor now. You ever want to talk about any part of what you are going through please don't hesitate to contact me. Good luck with everything. Try to relax and let the chemo do its work. Thinking about you buddy..
