Ray Smith's mother used to fish here all the time, hence the name... and Larry Decker caught Old Bess--- a 9 1/2 pound brown on a minnow here on 4/29/55 on a minnow, using a Jim Payne cane rod....

And using an automatic reel!--the creel looks a little small in relation to Old Bess. LOL.
