They look great Mike! CJ
"Gentlemen,remove your hats,this is it"
"This is where the trout was invented?"
"Oh he existed in a crude, primitive form in Waltons England"
"But this is where they painted spots on him and taught him to swim"

Back from California yesterday and now getting ready for the "Books and Brew" book launch celebration on December 30 at Yellow Breeches Outfitters, in Boiling Springs Pennsylvania.

Henry Ramsay ("Matching Eastern Hatches"), along with Matt Supinski ("Selectivity") Ed Shenk ("Fly Rod Trouting"), and Don Holbrook ("Midge Magic") will also be on-hand signing their great books.

Come on over....

How did it go?

I had every intention of making it up there, but I've been in bed flu with the flu instead.

I hope lots of people came; YBO can certainly use the business.

Well, since Mike has not answwered I can report for how it went for me. ;)

I was fortunate enough to have some time to sit and talk with Mike and very much appriciate him allowing me to bother him for a while. I was also fortunate to meet and speak with his wife Valerie at the Boiling Springs Tavern afterward who, like my wife is a middle school teacher (God bless them both). Mike, it was very nice meeting you and I hope you sold some books!

Sorry you couldn't make it Bob. Thanks for asking...

A truly fabulous time! A long day of greeting old friends, such as Ed Shenk, and meeting new friends such as Eric (crepuscular). Signed a pile of books throughout the day on Tuesday at the Yellow Breeches Outfitters Shop. Signed 120 books at Stackpole on Monday. All 20 flies, posted above, are gone with the new book!

One of the best times I've had out of state-----

Next stop in a few days---DENVER Fly Show!
