Thank you for taking us along!

I am also a huge fan of northern Maine... very much like stepping back in time.

I believe I may know which camp that might be -- I talked to the previous owner a few times about fishing in that region. He sadly passed away a few years ago, he was a fountainhead of information about northern Maine.

If it is the same camp, it's good to see that it is still up and running.

I want to take my family there next year to get a taste of times gone by.

Beautiful pictures; so glad you enjoyed yourself up here. I'm lucky enough to live in the middle of all that and it never gets old. Six Mile gate is a great access point, from there you can head off in any number of directions and stay as lost as you want for as long as you want. Other than too much rain lately, the fishing has been great throughout the Big Woods and the Fish River system.

Very glad you all enjoyed the post...and B&B, I think you probably do know the camp. According to my host, the original owner was quite the curmudgeon. If he didn't like you (including paying sports), he ran you off.

I do have hopes that Brodie and I will enjoy the area this October, on our way home from enjoying New Brunswick.
