Got my hands on a well-preserved Montague Redwing 8.5' recently, but butt-to-mid ferrule-fit was pretty loose, so I didn't buy. But in lawn casting it, it felt to be very promising as a "wet fly rod".

Quite a collection Mike. I can get my hands on a brand new Leonard Model 38 like the one you threw away if you are interested in expanding your collection.
