Lovely fish Alan. Wish I was still spry enough to scramble over the country they're still found. My advise is don't get old.

tt,

It's not as easy for me to visit those streams I did. 74 yr old knees bark like hell when I get home. The stream I fished yesterday was much kinder and it's appreciated.

Beautiful fish!

I couldn't help but chuckle at the responses about aging, as I'm mostly housebound following hip replacement. I'm still hoping to be out on a New York stream somewhere come April 1, but it will have to have easy access.

Best wishes for the new season,

Joe

Very nice Alan. Thanks for sharing that picture. There is always something special about a wild brook trout on a Cinberg. I also caught my first Cinberg brookies of the year yesterday. Didn't get a picture with that beautiful wood duck hanging out of its mouth like you did, but here's one of the trout:

Chuck, gorgeous brookie.
Cinbergs rule and that's a fact. For brookies I hold that fly very close to the Bomber.

A very nice blog Brk Trt. Good that you are fishing. Our water is mainly hard in the Catskills, with no warmups at all this winter.
