Following over a foot of snow Sunday, and lots of rain and 40+ degree weather today... Catskill streams are up and RIPPING!!!

I passed through Woodstock today and noticed Nick Lyon's Saw Kill Creek was up, rough and tumble... with plenty of snow chunks and ice pieces trying to flow downstream... the National Weather Service has issued flood warnings for our region... the upper reaches of the Esopus Creek are UP, UP, UP... so far, not too bad at the Coldbrook USGS gage, but time will tell... per the USGS gages, several other Catskill rivers are on the rise.... soon to be ripping also...
