Home Waters

Post by Brk Trt »

I fished my home waters yesterday. I was so pleased to find it had fared so well.

There's something magical about a small stream in winter.

That is great!
Love that native little Brown!
Don't take it for granite, it's a gneiss day.

Excellent Alan. Is that soft hackle a starling and purple? It looks very close to what I started with the other day. Minus the flashy thorax though.

Starling and Purple it is. I tried putting some purple ice dub for the thorax to temp the brookies, found out it tempted the browns too.
That fly had a bit more ice dub than it should have.
