I knew a guy who drove an old Peugeot 404 who wouldn't turn on the wipers when it started raining because they had broken in the past and therefore might break again. He wanted to save them for when it was really, really raining--a state of affairs that of course never arrived.

We have a problem! My uncle took out device to test everything out before I made the trip and the heating element on the device is not working right. This is a major problem because the temperature range required for the wax to properly adhere is very narrow.

I'm very sorry everyone. I'm not sure when I will be making the trip again but I will update everyone, with greater notice, when I do.
