UTC Wee Wool

UTC Wee Wool yarn any users ? Is it good ? If so what did you like about the presentations it was used for.

I have used it on several patterns for nymphs, caddis and a few small woolly buggers

It works okay, nothing special. I use it on soft hackle flies that are supposed to represent a caddis. The wool gives a nice segmented look that is quicker to tie with than using dubbing. All that said, when the supply I have runs out, I don't think I will replace it. I got a bunch on sale about 10-12 years ago because it looked good and was cheap. Much better alternatives out there.
Fishing with bait is like swearing in church.

I did order a few colors spools on line & they arrived today 10 @ 1.55 a piece . I'm just about ready for the winter Ty after this weekend stop @ the NJ Fly Fishing Show on Sat. for a few purchases This year will be my 1st attempt @ Trout presentations , drink some winter wine & wait for the snow to melt . thanks for the replies & helpful posts.

I use something called "UNI-Yarn." It looks very similar.
