OK, so this thread needs some love since our friend Eide posted a picture of a salesman’s card, here are a few of mine:

I don’t know whether I should post this or not, but here goes: so I bought this little box, that had fountain pen writing on the cover. It says “4,6,8,10 hooks” with the date 9-1-52, and the initials THT.

Here it is:


Inside of the box are:
500 each ALLCOCKS W174 in size 8, and 500 ALLCOCKS W173 and size 12, still bundled from the factory with their golden silk thread holding them together! The wrappers are as crunchy and clean as the day they were made

Needless to say I was speechless...........

I wish I could agree, but Dana works really hard to source his hooks--and his hook charts, which are exceedingly uncommon--at least the Allcocks ones.
