Looks like Mr. bearbutt is using Mustad 3913A in size 12, or Veniards “longshank may” hook.

Thank you Ted.

Along the years the hackle used for the Light Cahill went more cream coloured.
Mike Valla recently mentioned that for the Light Cahill they used to be tied with a similar shade hackle.
