Dark Comport: Revisted

Post by mikevalla »

Speaking of palmer dry flies, the Dark Comport --(there was a light and a dark version)--this one was always a great riffle choice. Don't know if there's any ambition here to tie a couple of dozen---but it may be time to do so. It's been a long time now since Ernie Maltz ranted about the fly. For that reason alone, maybe it's time---for memory sake.

Try a couple---
