North Country the Speckled Dun.

Found this in the North Country Fly by Rob Smith from the list of Willie Whitaker 1901. I thought it would be an interesting tie And to be used this spring in the Catskills March Brown time.

Hook. Daiichi 1480 size 12.
Silk. Orange Pearsalls gossamer.
Body Orange dubbed with pine squirrel.
Wings. Moor Hen wing slips.
Hackle. Speckled Moorcock.
