"Gentlemen,remove your hats,this is it"
"This is where the trout was invented?"
"Oh he existed in a crude, primitive form in Waltons England"
"But this is where they painted spots on him and taught him to swim"

What is your hook of choice for flat wings:
Allcocks 1810?
Mustad 9575?
I couldn’t help but notice they have a slightly SPROATY bend so we could be a 3907 as well........

Re: Oatman’s Brook Trout
Dana,
At the parsippany show I re-stocked and also found a couple boxes of long shanks I didn’t have.
The flies above were tyed on the 720’s, but I’m pretty sure Lew liked 6X and shorter shanks.
I save the 1810’s for Stevens flies. CJ
