Keeping busy

Had some time today to stick some of these in a frame. I used some barn wood and teak in the back, cork for the doubles cut on a 45* and everything is sewed on from behind.

Wow is right... very nice job, as always CJ... I'm surprised though you're not here in the Catskills at your place this holiday weekend... everyone else from the surrounding states are... drove up Mike's way today to visit family, I-787 and the Northway were solid parking lots... even old US 9 was backed up with folks like me trying to escape the traffic.... unbelievable... I guess some folks have a "nine-day weekend" caused it didn't make much sense to me to spend half a day sitting in a vehicle on an interstate, only to turn around Monday AM and fight the traffic back home--- wherever that is... until today, I forgot how much I hate travelling on a holiday weekend... hope local businesses do well...

Sorry I digressed a bit... very nice job on those flies and frame...

Thanks guys.

We stayed home this weekend because we were up the last 2, and the kids start school Tuesday. Wanted them to slowly transition into school, to come off the Catskill high and then have structure the next day...thats just not right! I know it doesn't do me any good, fishing Sunday and turning wrenches Monday

I will be up there Thursday though
