Sunday flies

Post by catskilljohn » Mon Nov 24, 2014 8:37 am

Got a few done after the leaves got picked up. A couple Snow Flies and a Butcher.

"Gentlemen,remove your hats,this is it"
"This is where the trout was invented?"
"Oh he existed in a crude, primitive form in Waltons England"
"But this is where they painted spots on him and taught him to swim"

It would take me a week to produce what you do in a couple of hours, CJ, and they would not look anywhere near as good as yours. Thanks for sharing this talent.

As usual, great looking flies... :D and the one reminds me of a Steeleye Span song, Who Told the Butcher... :)

Wow. Beautiful. Wow...
I'm an experienced practitioner of the mystical art of night fishing for large browns. I don't normally catch many small fish.

I fish where you fish, you're just not there when I am. ;-)
