Fran Betters influenced the Adirondaks are "North Country.

Let’s see the rest Alan-I couldn’t help but notice that one was tied up eye, and the other was tied on a down eye hook. Do you have any personal preference or is this just the way they came out of the box ? :lol:

Very nice ties, Alan. Looks like one is on a turned up eye and the other on a turned down eye - which do you prefer? I kind of like the look of the TUE.

The hook with the upterned eye is a Mustad 94842 #14...the other is a Saber 7224 #14

The upturned eye hook is fine wire and the fly fishes colse to the surface. The other hook is heavier and gets the fly down.

Matt I prefer the lighter hook, the reason is because it works close to the surface.
