Swimming mayfly Nymph

Some call them Bottom Dredgers. They are too often over shadowed by the dry fly, but have their place here.

Hook: Fly383 #14
Thread: Brown Uni 8/0
Tail: Moose fibers
Body: 2 pheasant tail fibers covered by wood duck fibers
Thorax: fine dubbing color your choice + cdc splitting thread technique for legs
Schield/cover: Cdc color your choice

Note: These nymphs can be weighted but not too heavy ( no beads please :) ) if needed I use flat adhesive lead thorax area.
So you can tie them in all colors and sizes you like to match your hatch.
