He's getting an operation, some ligament damage. He said he's ok, just wont be there for the show.

And, ummm...Joe? I think you are good with hackle for a while  CJ

 John.... How much hackle, how many more capes do you really, need, my friend  Everytime you're there, I've seen you walk out with a bag full of Collins capes  Give us the reasons: Maybe...

1). You are purchasing as an investment; cashing them in on ebay when the need arises: Possibly to fund the 60K-100K for college tuition, should the kids elect to take that route.

2).You're handing them out to the Sweden dudes.

3).Your house was burglarized; the jewelry wasn't missing; only Collins capes.

4). You quit your day job, and have decided to become a commercial tier, moving up to Jeffersonville, starting your own shop.

5). You're in panic because someone mentioned you have a fly that is just a shade off from the "original" hackle shade.

CJ,

If you need something from Charlie, I'll probably get over to see him within the next two weeks...let me know, and we can settle up at Fly Fest.

Best,

Tim

Come on, Mike...you can never have enough hackle!

Shooooottttttttt!!!!!

Except for one year  , I've gone to Somerset since the very first show when the vendors sold out of just about everything by late Saturday :o ...

However, in recent years I've only been going for two reasons and two reasons only... :| (1) to drop a 100 bucks with Collins, whether I needed any necks or not, and (2) to have a few brews with my buddies from Jersey... :P I was never quite clear which was more important, but tell ya this, those Jersey Boys better buy me an extra beer or two, else this could be a tough choice...

We had plans to head to Florida Wednesday for a few days, but battling winter aliments will postpone that trip for a while... Plan to attend Somerest IF the Jersey Boys can pool their resources to buy me an extra beer... 8-) See ya there, at the beer stand... :D

Turns out I'll be tying with the guild on Friday--Day of the Geezers, when everyone in the building has gray hair and a pot belly.
