Dette Flies Fall Event

Post by mikevalla » Wed Sep 11, 2019 3:11 pm

Hope to see many of my friends there!

"Make plans on October 12 and cruise to the Catskills For our first ever Fall Open House. We’re partnering with some local friends for some Fall festivities from 12-4pm. Mike Valla will join us for book signing and storytelling. Casting course will be set up for some fun and games. Fly tying will be on hand. And food, cider and more!"

If my wife and I weren't watching 3 grandsons that weekend, I'd be there for sure...

Sounds like a GREAT event! :D

Your two SGM monitors hard at work, at the Dette Shop Fall Event.

Great time with CJ, Matt Grobert, and others. Saw lots of friends

Valla discusses book copyediting with Bynack; Tim Abbott (great cane guy) chimes with tall-tales. Bonasera looks mystified with Tim's comments.

Thanks for posting photos... ;)

Looks like a great time had by all, but we just got home from another "family road trip", watching grandkids, up your way Mike, in Ballston Spa... otherwise, wish I could have been there...

It was fun at the event, always good to hang out with Mr. Valla, hear his stories about maple syrup, wine making and his rod making adventures!
Thanks to the Dette crew for hosting us and the event, great to see everyone before the season ends. CJ

I second that, CJ! It was a fun day listening to Mike and seeing familiar faces and some new ones.
